CTO2B Mentorship Program

CTO2B: Developing the Next Generation of IT Leadership

The CTO2B Mentorship Program is dedicated to empowering Indiana’s future K12 technology leaders by providing leadership development, professional knowledge growth, and collaborative opportunities. Our goal is to cultivate future-ready Chief Technology Officers (CTOs) and district technology leaders who can navigate the dynamic intersection of technology and education.

Aligned with CoSN’s Certified Education Technology Leader (CETL) certification, CTO2B focuses on the CoSN "Framework of Essential Skills of the K-12 CTO", which encompasses three critical areas:
- "Leadership & Vision" Developing strategic planning, ethics, and team-building skills.
- "Understanding the Educational Environment"* Enhancing instructional focus, professional development, and collaboration with curriculum and assessment teams.
- "Managing Technology & Support Resources:" Ensuring effective IT management, data privacy, security, and communication systems.

Our CTO2B mentorship program offers professional development, mentorship, and resources for aspiring technology leaders, including Technology Directors, eLearning Specialists, Curriculum Staff, and Assistant Superintendents seeking to strengthen their IT acumen. Our program equips participants with the knowledge and skills needed to become effective, strategic, and impactful leaders in their school districts.
